April 15-18, 2009 WBWG Biennial Meeting
The 2009 WBWG biennial meeting will be held in Austin, Texas, April 15-18, 2009. Hosted by BCI and the Texas State Working Group, at the Austin Radisson. Visit Bracken Cave, and watch the amazing Congress Avenue Bridge free-tail fly-out! Further details and registration forthcoming in the fall. Following with WBWG tradition, the last half day of the conference is a workshop during which time conference participants collaborate on an issue of concern to produce tangible results for the benefit of the membership and bat conservation and management. For example, in Portland, we updated the species accounts. Contact Pat Ormsbee (pormsbee@fs.fed.us) with any suggestions you have for the 2009 workshop.Registration for the hotel will be the responsibility of the attendee. More info to come.
